"A Musical Progress"
”Voce”, a vibrant, young London Chamber Choir, directed by Suzi Digby Eatwell, will perform pieces from The Montagu Music Collection in three very different venues. Starting late morning at Warkton Church, home to an outstanding grouping of 18th century Montagu family monuments, there will be religious music by Tallis, Byrd and Pergolesi.
We will then move, on foot or by car, and weather permitting, to Orpheus, the new 21st century landform in the historic park at Boughton, for a catered picnic accompanied by pastoral music. The promenade will culminate with Tudor choral music in the magnificent Great Hall at Boughton.
