Portrait of Adam de Coster (1586-1643). by Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641). Artist, three-quarter length, turned to the right facing the spectator, in black dress with white collar and cuffs and black cloak, resting his right elbow on a ledge - with inscription - on panel 9.25 in. x 5.75 in. Provenance: Sir Peter lely; sale, 18th April 1682 "Item.
