Two figures of the Bodhisattva Buanyin with child

These two form a group of eleven figures of Guanyins at Boughton are very similar in that they both show the Bodhisattva seated on a rocky throne among waves, from which a sea dragon emerges. To one side is a gourd flask containing heavenly ambrosia, and to the other a sutra book and scroll. On her lap is a baby boy, and at her feet two more small boys.
