| Welcome and Introduction - introduces you to the site and what it has to offer, it includes a short piece written by the Duke of Buccleuch about his feelings for the house. From this page you can access 'Where Boughton Stands', which explains how the estate fits in with the local community, and national interest.

| Tour of House and Gardens - this section takes you through the house, room by room. Details of many of the contents within each room is given and most of the items mentioned can be seen by clicking on the links. The large pictures of each room also provide links to many of the items within the image (the cursor will change to a 'hand' when over active parts of the image). A structured tour can be followed by using the 'Next Room' link at the bottom of each page, or you can chose to view any of the rooms by using the Tour Index (upper right window). Linked images will appear in this main window, while information about each item is given in the 'Item Information Window' (lower right). QTVR - This is a virtual reality feature and you will need a particular plugin for your browser. If you do not have the QTVR plugin use the link provided to take you to the Quick Time site, get the plugin, then come back. Once you have the plugin you can view the QTVR's of Boughton House. Use the mouse button to click and drag, and you will be able to look all around, as if you were standing in the area yourself!
