oak veneered with tulipwood and mounted with twenty-four Sèvres porcelain plaques; gilt-bronze mounts, 76 x 114.5 x 58.5cm

The table is of the same model as one at Waddesdon, also with Sèvres porcelain plaques, five of which bear the date letter for 1760.

PROVENANCE probably the 'French table ornamented with Sèvres China' bought by the 5th Duke of Buccleuch from E. H. Baldock in June 1830.
