In the second State Room or "The State Drawing Room", the
Chéron ceiling depicts The room retains the original walnut chairs covered in crimson velvet. Now much faded they, nonetheless show the way in which the tones of the tapestries and other fabrics would have become increasingly lavish as visitors progressed towards the State Bed Chamber. |
