The Health and Safety Executive

HSEWe are interested in the health and safety of people at work - that includes people who may be harmed by the way work is done (for example because they live near a factory, or are passengers on a train). In some situations, we are also concerned with the way work affects the environment.

We develop new health and safety laws and standards, and play a full part in international developments.

Weldon Stone Enterprises Limited

Weldon Stone Enterprises LtdWeldon Stone constructs, restores and conserves fine stone buildings and features. Our sympathetic repair and cleaning of traditional stonework has helped major buildings, such as Stoneleigh Abbey, Portsmouth Cathedral and Belton House, return to their former glory. Smaller projects on churches, hospitals, bridges, and stone features are completed with equal care and skill.

Weldon’s team of skilled craftsmen draw from a comprehensive stock of 14 stone types. Using modern cutting machinery masons produce perfectly matching stonework carved in Weldon’s workshops - thus time on-site at projects is carefully limited to ensure tight cost and project management.

Weldon Stone is a company noted for its open and helpful attitude and the outstanding quality of its restoration and conservation of magnificent and historic buildings.
